responded to a call of a person shot at approximately 3 pm, and found Surendra Dangol, 39 of Sommerville, who was a clerk at the store bleeding on the floor of the store. He was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police continue to withhold his age and address but have released video surveillance footage of the suspect who was seen fleeing the scene in a white, four-door Chrysler or Dodge sedan which was last seen traveling on Centre Street toward the Jamaica Way. No arrests have been made.
Tedeschi’s corporate office released a brief statement from its president, Peter Tedeschi that expressed grief and sorrow for the loss of Mr. Dangoi, “as the result of this senseless act of violence.”
